JUNE 2015

We admired the sunrise at Stanton Drew Stone Circle this morning and were fortunate that it made a brief appearance at just the right moment, 04.43 ! Joining hands in a huge circle in a peaceful, connected space , led by Adrian the Druid, created appropriate energy for mid-summer celebrations. I have encountered confusion about ‘mid-summer’ or ‘beginning of summer’. For me it feels as though it is just beginning so perhaps one takes what one needs !

Everything here is focused on our big Bee Event on 4th / 5th July when we will welcome lots of bee-friendly folk to our first South West Natural Bee-keeping Convention. Contact me if you haven’t yet booked but there are few places left now.

There will not be a separate Bee Group meeting on 4th July but we will meet again on Saturday, 5th September at 11.00 am to 12.30 as usual. Also in September we will be starting our Beginners’ Bee-keeping course on the 3rd Tuesday each month from 5.00pm to 8.00pm each session. Check the website for full details – this is being organised in response to requests from those who work at week-ends, so please spread the word to anyone you know who may be interested. Have a happy summer with your bees and do get in touch if you have any queries / comments
